About Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church
Our Doctrinal Beliefs

We believe in the absolute authority of the Holy Scriptures. We believe the original manuscripts were given by inspiration of God and were without error. We believe the God who gave His word to man has taken upon himself the responsibility for its preservation (Psalm 12:6-7). We believe the Bible for the English speaking world today is the Authorized (King James) version. This Bible is our final authority in all matters.

We believe in one God eternally existent as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe God to be the creator and sustainer of all things, visible and invisible. We believe the universe and all that is therein to be held together by His power.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ to be God manifest in the flesh, virgin born, without sin, crucified, risen and coming again to receive His church, then returning to establish His kingdom.

We believe salvation is available to all men by grace through faith alone in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe the saved child of God is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ, and is sealed, taught, and comforted by the Holy Spirit through eternity.
We believe all men rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ will spend eternity in the conscious torment of a literal lake of fire, while those receiving the Lord Jesus Christ will spend eternity in Heaven in the glorious presence of God.

We believe all saved men should be separate from the outward and inner ways of this world, being holy in mind and body.

Meet Our Pastors:
Dr. Gary S. Moore
(Senior Pastor)
Pastor Michael S. Moore
(Youth Pastor & Associate Pastor)
Dr. Gary S. Moore
Dr. Moore, a native of Lawrenceville, Georgia, was born again at the age of 12. He surrendered to preach the gospel in 1975. His ministry began right away in Guatemala in the summer of 1976 working for 3 months with missionary Emmett Wilson. From 1977 until 1979 Dr. Moore worked in Texas with Rev. L.L. Pruett and Rev. Kenneth Stone. In the year of 1979 he moved to Lynchburg, Virginia to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies at Liberty Baptist College (Now Liberty University). While in Virginia, the Lord allowed Dr. Moore the Privilege of being Pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, a small struggling church in Monroe, Virginia. Dr. Moore considers it a great privilege to have been their pastor for six years, while attending Bible College and working full time in the process.
Upon graduating Liberty University in 1984 with a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Theology, Dr. Moore and his family began to serve the Lord as a full time missionary in the country of Wales, where he remained until 1993. Dr. Moore was the first missionary to be sent out of the Gospel Preacher Association. During his time in Wales, Dr. Moore worked with Gabalfa Baptist Church in Cardiff. In time, more missionaries were added to the GPA and more began to come to work in Wales. Later, Dr. Moore became the Welsh Director of Missions for the GPA (The GPA now supports over 40 full time missionaries, a mission board of which Dr. Moore is now the Vice President). Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Moore became the pastor of Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church.
